Our Services

US Customs Entry Filing

At the core of our business is the efficient processing of merchandise seeking entry into the United States.  HG Enterprises holds a National Permit from U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) to transact business at all U.S. ports which ensures that our clients will receive the same level of service regardless of where their shipment arrives.  All of our entries are submitted electronically by way of the Customs Automated Broker Interface (ABI) to provide the most efficient transmission of information and allow for faster cargo release.  Coupled with our experienced and knowledgeable team of Brokers and Certified Specialists our customers can rest assured that their entries are being handled with superior care.

Importer Security Filing (ISF)

For those clients who receive cargo arriving by vessel, U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) requires the transmission of certain data elements no later than 24 hours prior to the cargo being laden aboard the vessel at the foreign port.  This transmission is known as the Importer Security Filing (also referred to as “10+2” denoting the number of data elements required).  At HG Enterprises we work closely with our clients to coordinate the receipt of this information from their global suppliers and freight forwarders to make certain these filings are completed timely and prevent costly delays and penalties.  For the complete listing of all required data elements please see our Importer Security Filing (ISF) Worksheet

CBP Bonds

With only a few exceptions, U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) requires that an importer must post a bond when entering goods into the United States for the purposes of compliance and revenue protection.  Dependent on the nature of the goods, frequency, value of shipments and activity type, bond amounts may vary.  As a service, HG Enterprises can review your bond needs and obtain the right CBP bond for your particular circumstances.  Please Contact Us (hyperlinks to Contact Page) for additional information regarding CBP Bonds or for an Application for a Continuous CBP Bond please click here
